    The Waypoint™ implementation model is normally a Client / Server solution involving a Relational Database, therefore the operating system and hardware requirements have been divided into the following three sections: Database Server, Application Server and Client.

    Database Server
    Waypoint™ runs against the following Relational Database Management Systems:

    - Oracle™ 9i Release 2 or 8.0 , 8.0i (on UNIX or Windows™ etc.)

    Application Server
    Waypoint™ Database Manager and DCT Service runs on the Application server:

    - Windows™ NT 4.0
    - Windows™ 2000

    Typical Application server:
    -Windows™ NT 4.0, SP6 or later, Windows™ 2000
    -1 Gb internal memory

    Client
    The operating system platforms supported for Clients are: Windows™ 2000 Professional, Service Pack 4 Windows™ XP Professional, Service Pack 2

    2. Software Requirements
